A recent article on theWhir.com reported that a 75 year old Georgian woman caused a massive Internet outage in all of Armenia and also affected parts of Georgia and Azerbaijan. How? Turns out the woman was digging for copper cables to sell as scrap, which is a common practice, and ended up slicing through a fiber-optic cable.The outage in Armenia lasted for about 5 hours!
