Colocation America Reintroduces Grant with Funding Opportunities for Youth Programs That Focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Education (STEM)

(LOS ANGELES — March 28, 2017) Colocation America, (www.colocationamerica.com), a leading provider of colocation and dedicated server hosting, announced the reintroduction of their grant opportunity that supports efforts to bolster science, technology, engineering and math education (STEM). The STEM Grant represents Colocation America’s commitment to working with nonprofits within the community to provide the educational background needed for young people wishing to enter the STEM workforce of the future.

“After the success of our STEM grant program in 2015, we are happy to offer this opportunity again to the communities we serve,” said Samantha Walters, Vice President of Corporate Strategy. “STEM education and youth programs are incredibly important in our connected world, and we want to provide opportunities for students to reach their full potential and find a career in the technologies of tomorrow.”

Four to ten grants of up to $7,500 are available to be awarded to nonprofit charitable organizations classified as a 501(c) (3) public charity and K-12 educators with STEM programming for their new or reoccurring program. Grant decisions are based on the extent to which measurable program goals, objectives, and activities enhance student interest and encourage preparation for STEM courses and careers.
