Colocation America is taking this matter very seriously and is doing its best to ensure the wellbeing of clients, staff, partners, and the community. As this situation continues to unfold, we will provide updates about our service offerings and safety procedures.
For Clients – Support During Hard Times
With millions working from home amid a nationwide lockdown, there has been a notable increase in the demand on servers and the data centers that house them. Here at Colocation America, we are equipped and ready to withstand the demand needed to keep your business’ IT Infrastructure secure and connected during this hard time.
Since our beginning, Colocation America has ensured that our data centers withstand rigorous data center audits. These audits ensure we are always equipped and ready to provide services during any hard time our clients may face. Considering the current situation, our Data Center Staff is ready and able to provide remote services to any client’s that need it – services will not be interrupted and onsite services will continue to be available.
However, during this time, for the safety of our staff & clients, we are restricting onsite visits. Only clients that need to do emergency maintenance may be allowed, upon review, to visit the data center. We thank you for understanding this as we try to maintain the highest level of safety as set out in the guidelines provided by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local/federal public health organizations.
While we restrict onsite visits, we will be providing remote assistance free of charge. If you need remote assistance, please do reach out to our Support Team via Support[@]ColocationAmerica.com or through your Support Ticket Portal.
Lastly, we are aware that some of our clients may experience financial difficulties during this time. If you need flexible payment terms, please email Billing[@]ColocationAmerica.com. We will work together with you and your business to create a payment plan – we are committed to getting through these challenging times together.
For Staff – Safety & Certainty During Hard Times
The COVID-19 pandemic has reinforced how vital data centers are in modern society – our data center staff is essential to maintaining these facilities and it is our duty to keep our team safe.
While all Colocation America data centers remain fully operational, we are diligently working to ensure that critical medical and cleaning supplies are available to our Data Center Staff. We are continuing to comply with all guidelines provided by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local/federal public health organizations.
Colocation America has implemented travel restrictions on all staff members as well as requiring non-essential staff to work from home. We will continue to be fully transparent about the health and wellness of our staff during this time – in and out of the data center.
Lastly, we understand the financial uncertainty of today. We ensure that all staff, hourly or salary, will remain employed during this time.
From our family to yours, stay safe and sane.
